馬鞍壩生態公園 啟用

台電位於大甲溪發電廠的「馬鞍壩生態公園」昨（廿四）日正式啟用，台中市長林佳龍和台電董事長黃重球共同為馬鞍壩生態公園揭幕。

台電指出，大甲溪電廠除肩負發電功能外也致力於環境保育，這座生態公園的完成將豐富大甲溪流域的生態旅遊內容，為民眾增加一個觀光休閒好去處，可望振興地方觀光。

台電表示，為關懷地方並發展環境教育，民國一○二年決定將大甲溪電廠轉型為生態電廠，與台中市政府合作推動大甲溪水力發電廠生態走廊旅遊，首先選定在谷關風景區的下游、擁有國內第一座大型攔河壩「魚道」的馬鞍壩為生態走廊的起點，結合谷關溫泉、八仙山及白冷圳，打造綠能教育與生態風貌的旅遊行程。

園區內有「動態展示館」展出魚道影像直播、陳列以特小比例製作的大甲溪流域各分廠電力設施模型，「靜態展示館」則介紹各種綠電的發電方式及電力傳輸的過程，也特別展出過去由大甲溪電廠贈與台中科博館的珍貴蝴蝶標本；民眾還可在入口斜坡處的「觀景平台」一覽大甲溪美景、從日式木造屋改造的「發呆亭」遠眺鷺鷥島，透過「水輪機」了解微水力發電方式，更可實地到「魚道觀景台」看大甲溪魚類在魚道內爬樓梯。

台電表示，即日起受理平日三人以上團體參訪園區，預約專線：(04)25942951，目前正值暑假期間，歡迎民眾報名親子共遊。台電強調，馬鞍壩生態公園只是大甲溪生態保育工作的第一站，未來將規劃更多大甲溪周邊電廠生態景點讓大家認識。
